Your role
We are looking for someone to focus on the purchasing processes. We count on your excellent project management skills to map the existing processes and gaps, (re-)design the processes and ensure they are implemented. You will report to the divisional purchasing manager and are part of the Power Technique Service (PTS) division of Atlas Copco.
- You will be project leader and important user for digitalization projects within the PTS purchasing team
- You will represent the division in the purchase-to-pay process meetings in ERP related projects
- You will guide structural improvements on the or ERP templates in cooperation and through communication with the local purchasers
- You will support MDG project (=Master Data Governance) from purchasing point of view and safeguard the purchasing processes will be covered in MDG
- You will increase further developments in the purchasing systems used (supplier portal, purchase price approval system) for the global purchasing organization
- You will support to implement our global supply chain roadmap
- You will support the Product Lifecycle Management activities, among which the Parts Set-Up Process, the production phase-out process, and the spare part end-of-life process.
- You will improve actions on the cooperation with the global production facilities, visit our production facilities, discuss with stakeholders, and promote change management
- You will bring structural improvements for the KPI platform and the existing dashboards to improve the operational efficiency of the purchasing team
- You will develop and further enhance KPI's to improve the purchase performance within the global purchasing team, for all distribution centers in Belgium, US, China, and India.

- You have 3+ years of experience in a similar position or you can rely on an academic background in engineering, economics
- You bring structure to our organization

- You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
